Get out of your fitness rut with Lagree DC

Get out of your fitness rut with Lagree DCIn a fitness rut? Then it may be time to switch things up. I go through this every few months. I feel a little bored with my workouts so instead of falling off the wagon all together I love incorporating new workouts into my routine. I lift heavy 3 days a week, so in-between I like to do something different to diversify my regimen. My newest addiction is Lagree Dc. Think Solid Core or the hardest Pilates class you’ve ever taken and then multiply that by 10 and you have Lagree! But seriously it’s an ahhmazing full body lengthening/strengthening 50 min workout that will leave your body shaking so you know it worked! It’s no wonder celebs and models are obsessed with Lagree.

Lagree DC

The Lagree Method is a multi-faceted workout that combines resistance training and cardio into one comprehensive, balanced system to strengthen, tighten, and tone the body. Varying degrees of spring-based tension allow the Lagree Method to adjust to the user during use. This immediate adaptability creates a tailored experience that is unique to the student. Because of this, Lagree is the ideal method for all ages and fitness levels.

The entire class is done on the megaformer. The class is pretty fast-paced so it really goes by quick but it’s the length of time you are holding the positions that really gives you results. Lagree is all about the 8 counts. 4 counts out on the megaformer and 4 counts back. So you really dig into those muscles that you may not be working in your other workouts. I consider myself if pretty good shape. I can lift pretty darn heavy but this class had me feeling all sorts of out of shape! Because these are muscles and moments I don’t normally do but I love the challenge! I think it’s so important to constantly challenge your mind and your body, so trying something new that you might not be good at is an amazing thing you can do for yourself!
