On The Farm With sigAshop

I am constantly amazed by the amount of successful women that surround me. It is both uplifting and inspiring to personally know so many women who decided to stray from the conventional 9-5 desk jobs to follow their passions and dreams. A large reason why I decided to take the plunge into self employment and start my own business and let me tell you that my life has changed dramatically and I haven’t looked back since the day I walked out of that office.

When my good friends, Jennifer Gray and Brittany Hartz told me they were starting an boho/equestrian inspired clothing line called sigAshop; I knew the second they told me that it would be wildly successful because the passion and love they both have for horses and for fashion. Both things that I am also pretty crazy about!

Growing up with these girls on neighboring horse farms in Warrenton, VA, we have a lot of the same values. Living in the city now, it makes me really appreciate where I came from and proud of the work ethic that farm life taught me. I know that these girls will be successful not only because they make beautiful clothing but because they know what hard work is and what it takes to build something great.

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to head back to the farm and spend some time with my girls, Jen and Brittany. I was able to check out their clothing line and style some of my favorite pieces while playing around on the family farm. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my Sunday. I am beyond excited to share this collaboration with you all because I know that you will fall in love with these pieces just as much as I did.

You will see me sporting these light and airy cropped tunics all spring/summer long with my jean shorts and you better believe they will also be coming with me on my summer travels. SigAshop is being described as the perfect contradiction of equestrian meets rock-indie and beach bohemian. The sigAshop brand is inspired by distant places, country-life and childhood memories on horse farms. The sigAshop’s story began with two best friends, Jennifer and Brittany, who grew up in Virginia’s Piedmont Hunt Country riding horses together, tailgate crashing polo matches and hunt races, and traveling abroad from one adventure to another.
