There is nothing more refreshing than a new year with a new outlook. Let’s be honest; Typically we make outrageous resolutions and promises, only to fall short. So this year, I’m making smaller changes in life to help improve my health and overall well-being, such as practicing meditation, tweaking my diet, exercising and reading more, and simply taking the time to appreciate the gift of life each day.
I find it difficult to make it to the gym with work, traffic, friends, responsibilities – I could continue to make up excuses. So this time around, I’m going to make that extra effort to not “namastay” in bed and get up 30 minutes earlier to focus on a quick but effective core workout. I’m sharing my favorite 20-minute ab workout, which burns the core without all of the sweat in the hair (hair: my top excuse for skipping a workout). This routine requires little space so it can be done almost anywhere. No excuses!
