Dressed Up In Cozy

Dressed Up In Cozy

Since the weather been a touch bipolar lately, I am really not sure how I’m supposed to dress. Do I bundle up, wear shorts, or both? A crazy question to be asking yourself in mid-January.

When I shot this look, it was chilly out, so I dressed for it. I layered on my favorite new shift dress, fuzzy teddy bear jacket and my go-to over-the-knee boots. This is a classic look that you might see me wearing multiple times this winter (if it actually starts acting like it) because it’s comfortable yet cozy. Well except for your mid-thighs, they can get a bit chilly when the wind is whipping.

So when you really have no idea how to dress for the weather, layering is your best option. That way you can shed layers until you feel comfortable. Nothing is worse than being too hot or too cold and being stuck in your outfit all day long. I’m always a fan of shift dresses for work or for going out because they are flattering on almost any body type and they feel great on. They never hug you in the wrong places and always allow room for dessert!
