If you have been following us on Instagram, you’ve probably heard the snake boot saga by now but if you’re just joining us I’ll fill you in. Long story short, I left my brand new (only worn once) Shutz Snake boots on the train back from NYFW and yes I was devastated. And for those asking how you could lose your shoes on a train…I had a Mr. Rogers moment and had to change into my sneakers bc as much as I love heeled boots, I’m not a fan of traveling in them.

After mourning the loss of my boots I struggled if I should replace them with the same pair by Shutz or go big and buy a pair by Paris Texas that I had been eyeing. I guess I was feeling like a boss that day bc I decided to treat myself and splurge for the big daddy’s.
