Seeing Is Believing – LensCrafters

I know this is crazy, but I haven’t had my vision checked in over five years. My eyes rarely bother me and my vision has always seemed to be fine. However, it is recommended to get an eye exam annually, so I figured it was definitely time for me to get checked! I’m a busy lady, so quick and painless appointments are what I’m all about. I visited the Grand Opening of the new LensCrafters at Ballston Quarter. The associates there streamlined everything so it was seamless. I was amazed at the high-tech experience, and the assistant and optometrist I saw were both extremely professional and put me at ease. I’m not a fan of doctors’ visits, they always give me anxiety. However, with the immaculate new store design and the care of the doctor and the associates, this didn’t feel like a doctors’ appointment at all – more like a visit to a really chic boutique. The actual eye exam was a breeze. LensCrafters offers a digital eye exam that is efficient, but extremely precise and very thorough. In a fitness rut? Then it may be time to switch things up. I go through this every few months. I feel a little bored with my workouts so instead of falling off the wagon all together I love incorporating new workouts into my routine. Why Supporting Local Is Important – Alexandria Edition

Online shopping, we all do it because it’s convenient, takes a click of a mouse and your shiny new treasures are on the way. I’m as guilty as anyone, because I do my fair share of point and click shopping but what if that was our only option? What if you could no longer stroll the charming streets of your town on a Saturday or pop into your favorite local boutique for a dress for an event you have that night? What if your home town was filled with nothing big box stores and Amazon pick up locations? That could soon be our reality if we don’t make a change. In the last year, we made a few big changes of our own. We moved from Arlington to Alexandria, Virginia and I bought a new business, The Alexandria Scout Guide. While the move was only 15 miles away, it feels like an entirely different world.
