We arrived in Miami early Thursday morning with great anticipation and a very packed schedule ahead of us. We wanted to take full advantage of our visit and take in all that Mercedez Benz Fashion Swim Week 2015 had to offer in the little time that we had.
As soon as we unpacked our bags we were off to the Ford Artists Beauty Suite on the Venetian Lady yacht for makeup and hair styling hosted by the ladies behind the charity Style Saves. This was much appreciated after a rough, early flight. Our Ford makeup artist and hair stylist were phenomenal and we thank them for their amazing work and help getting us ready!
Poko Pano kicked off MBFW with the very first show on Friday at The Raleigh Hotel pool. We all clinched on to our fans and drastically tried to keep cool in the blistering heat. Thankfully the show was a splash, literally, and we soon forgot about the heat and humidity and enjoyed the show and MBFW 10 Year Anniversary party and opening night event.
After a long and exhilarating first day of shows we were finally able to take a breather, relax… EAT…and enjoy some free time at the Salon Allure After Party held at the W South Beach. They had a poolside fashion show of their favorite pieces from each designer.
We were super excited to attend the WILDFOX exclusive brunch and trunk show on Saturday. We snagged some amazing deals and goodies at their trunk show, tried out our very first oxygen bar, took a dip in the pool to cool off and all while soaking in the view Miami had to offer.
The Issa de’ mar Pool Party Presentation at the Shore Club was a very special and intimate event to attend. We were honored to meet Marissa Eveland and Melissa Jasniy, the creative designers behind the swimwear while viewing their 14/15 Cruise collection. The active surfers and best friends live in Oahu, Hawaii and have just recently launched their line of functionable yet fun and stylish bathing suits. Issa de’ mar is definitely a brand to check out for your next pool party or beach party!
What we wore to the shows that night…
Michelle Martin Marcinowski – Top (ALC), Skirt (Hemlut Lang), Embossed Chain Clutch (Stella McCartney), Body Chain (Marrin Costello).
Sarah Gargagliano Phillips- Dress (Mara Hoffman) Shoes (Nasty Gal)
The Guess Pool party was held at the top of Soho Beach House. They were serving up refreshing Heineken drinks and delicious Desperados while DJ Caroline D’Amore spinned the sickest beats. We left with matching sunglasses, fanny packs and some pretty fun polaroids to take home. Talk about a blast from the past.
BECCA is one of our favorite swimwear companies, so naturally we had to rep some of her suits on the beach and to the Guess Pool Party.

Day 4… tired but still standing at the 6 Shore After Party hosted by Pooja and Natalie Off Duty.

As you guys know from our past post and interview with local swimwear designer Karla Colletto, we are pretty big fans. We had the great opportunity to check out their Cruise 2015 swim collection while in Miami at the Convention center and can’t wait to find their pieces in store soon!
We had such a blast attending Mercedez Benz Fashion Swim week and all the fun events and parties that came along with it. Thanks for having us!
Peace Out Miami
