Halloween has long been a favorite holiday of ours. Dressing up in costume mixed with unlimited amounts of candy and favorable weather are a few of the things that get us excited about this time of year. Since we already have our costumes picked out and ready to go, the only thing missing were the pumpkins! So we threw together a little pumpkin decorating party at Natasha’s house where we made a boozy milkshake and put your creativity to the test. There are so many options when it comes to pumpkin decorating, whether it be carving, painting, using glitter and ribbons or even adding funky accessories to dress them up, the options are really endless. There is no wrong way to decorate a pumpkin, sometimes they turn out silly and other times they turn out to be a work of art but all that really matters in the end is that you enjoy the process.
What goes better with pumpkin decorating than booze?? We are pretty sure it helps with the creative process as well. We crafted up a boozy milkshake that we enjoyed while we got our hands dirty. Here is the recipe we used:
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup cream or half and half
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
Michelle is wearing: South Mood Under Cardigan Wrap Sweater (similar here), Everlane U-Neck T shirt, Freddy R Up Pants and Ugg Boots
Sarah is wearing: Cardi Wrap by Lululemon (similar here), Enza Costa Tee, Freddy Leggings and Boots by Zara.
Wishing you all a Happy Halloween!
xoxo
