I just finished my very last juice of a 3 day juice cleanse founded locally in Bethesda, MD called Puree Artisan Juice Bar. Once or twice a year I like to do a 3 day juice cleanse to help motivate me to eat healthier in the new year or get back on track. The ingredients consists of only water and fresh unpasteurized fruit and vegetable juices. In the past I have tried Blue Print and Cooler Cleanse which were delivered from NY. All three were pretty comparable in price ($150-175), however for fellow Washingtonians the Puree ends up cheaper when factoring shipping and handling. It was also quite rewarding to support a local small business and their juices were surprisingly all delicious and satisfying. I definitely will be using them again! I started off with the classic 3 day cleanse, which includes 18 juices (6 per day), 3 beet shots and a ginger shot. The green juice in comparison to the previous 2 companies was the most delicious and the carrot juice tasted like dessert to me.
