Trend Alert: 3 Ways Rock The PJ Frock Sorry I have been so MIA lately. With baby, work, the new house and the fact that it is Summer with so much going on and oh so little time, blogging unfortunately took a back burner. But we are back and ready and full of fashion inspo after that much needed pause. Life update: Baby A continues to be a fire cracker with a whole lot of sass and even more personality. I love watching every second of her growth and progress as she went from a baby to a full on toddler over night. Mother hood is becoming a bit easier now that she is a bit more independent but the lack of sleep, pure exhaustion, constant eye twitch and nightly full pour of mama juice stays real. A favorite fellow mom blogger, Cella Jane, put it nicely that Parenthood is simply surviving until the end of the day when you put the kids down just to watch your favorite show for 5 minutes then pass out. The 3 trends you need to pick up this season … With each season come new trends and new must haves. It’s all a bit overwhelming and before you know it we have slid right in to the next season with the next trends and next must haves to waist your money on. SO when I choose which trends I want to sport around this Holiday, I try to be very selective. This year I did all of my fall and winter shopping at Bevello because of their wide selection of clothes and accessories, each carefully selected to cater to all trends and for a variety of tastes and styles. So putting together my winter wardrobe was as easy as 1 2 3, adding in the missing pieces to my closet. Fall Styling Staples I love fall for many reasons. The crisp weather, cooking up my favorite comfort foods and the FASHION. I love warm weather but you just can’t put an outfit together in the summer like you can in the fall. Give me all the LAYERS! I recently did some shopping and updated my closet with this amazing suede jacket that I can’t stop wearing. It literally goes with everything. I will admit, I have gone a bit nuts in the shopping department this season but this is hands down my favorite purchase so far. Another fall staple in my closet are these Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots. I love them because they give the illusion of longer legs and who doesn’t want that?! Mom Jeans

These aren’t your typical mom jeans … I seriously couldn’t help but smile this entire shoot because quite frankly I was just in my mommy element. Give me a comfy, over sized denim shirt that I can easily wipe off spit up and baby food with out staining along with a well fitted pair of denim that’s a bit trendier than the norm, any day. Baby girl is now 6 months. Can you believe it?! She’s half a year old!! I never really understood why mommies always took monthly photos, but now I do. You have to cherish EVERY single MOMENT, because with the blink of an eye they are a complete new baby. Adaline went from an infant to what I feel like a toddler within just weeks. Ok maybe not a toddler, but she’s a big girl! She is eating solids like a pro (and now pooping more than ever like a pro), napping like a champ, sitting up, laughing, rolling, playing and all that cute baby stuff.
