It Doesn’t Get Much Cuter Than Woodstock, Vermont

A few weeks ago, Casey and I headed up to Woodstock, Vermont to attend our friends wedding over 4th of July weekend. I had been to Vermont as a young kid to ski at Sugar Bush but that had to be over 20 years ago (wow I’m old). We had nothing on our schedule other than to stay at the resort that the couple reserved a hotel block, attend the wedding and to watch fire works somewhere. I had no idea I would fall so hard for this little town and now I completely understand why our friends chose this location to tie the knot. It doesn’t get much cuter than Woodstock, Vermont. Woodstock Inn and Resort A friend’s wedding took us to Woodstock, Vermont and lucky for us the hotel block was at The Woodstock Inn and Resort. We were absolutely blown away with he beauty of this Inn and Spa. Everything was top notch, including the service, food, spa and amenities. Every weekday morning I stand in front of my closet, coffee mug in hand, completely baffled about what to wear to work. When I finally make a decision (at the last possible moment) I leave behind a disaster zone—clothes and hangers cover nearly every inch of my closet, my bedroom and sometimes even my dog. I have a problem. I know that. But I don’t think I’m alone. I can’t be the only one questioning every outfit choice I make: Is this sweater too casual? Am I showing too much skin? Funny story, last month my husband showed up to a black-tie wedding wearing a khaki linen suit.. Apparently I had forgotten to read the fine print on the bottom of the wedding invitation and he wasn’t too happy with me but after handing him a few whiskeys from the open bar, he seemed to care a lot less. A Weekend at The Saratoga Races

Jumpsuit by DVF, sunglasses by Ray-ban and fascinator purchased in Saratoga boutique. Dress by BCBG and bag by Street Level Bags. Saratoga will forever hold a special place in my heart, it has been an annual vacation spot for our family since I was a baby and it is also the place where Casey and I got engaged two years ago. I grew up in a horse loving family, so it is only natural that our family vacation would be centered around an equestrian event. Saratoga Springs, NY has so much charm and character behind it, from the historic homes to the natural springs and everything in between. I am sure you have ordered one of those blue bottles of sparkling water sold at your local restaurant, if you have then you have had a taste of Saratoga (literally). The race season at the Saratoga track starts in late July and runs six days a week through the end of August, which makes for the perfect time to visit to escape the southern heat.
