5 Flattering Swimsuits For Your Winter Getaway + Tips On Shopping for YOUR Body Type! Nothing is better than escaping the blistering cold weather in the mid of winter for warm sandy beaches. Oh and pina coladas, you can’t forget about those! I recently took a trip to St. John (USVI) and packed along some of my favorite and most flattering swimsuits to date. But before I do that I wanted to share a bit of swim shopping advice because shopping for swimwear can really suck so I want to make it suck the least for you. The sun is finally shining and it’s time to break out the bathing suits. If you’re anything like me and need to add at least 2-3 new suits to your wardrobe per season, then you might want to keep reading this post. Ok, I may be lying…that number might be more like 10 per season but who’s counting? Since I’m always on the lookout for the next cute suit and I have a few that I already approve of in my wardrobe. I thought I would share some of my favorites that I have found this season. Check out the few that I took on vacation to St. John and the ones that I have my eye on (aka are sitting in my shopping cart). Whether you have a beach vacation on the books or you’re just heading to the neighborhood pool, it may be time to update your swimwear game. I have always been a bit crazy about swimsuits, probably why I have over 70 suits at home (oops). But I blame my addiction on Miami Swim Week because I have to put the blame on someone! I have attended 3 swim shows in the past 4 years and am so excited to be heading back in just a few days. At swim week I get to be one of the firsts to see what’s to come for next season’s swimwear trends and I can’t wait to share it all with you! A Girls Guide To Bali

Before I booked my trip to Bali, I knew pretty much zero about it. I knew it was located in Indonesia and that it’s a top honeymoon destination for newlyweds but that was pretty much it. When my close friends and designers/owners of SigaShop, an equestrian/boho clothing line that is made in Bali, asked me to go with them I said “why the hell not”. My work schedule was pretty light and I had been itching to travel, so this adventure couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I booked my trip about 3 weeks out (which I don’t recommend) and before I knew it, I was on my way to paradise. TRAVEL – GETTING TO BALI After a quick stop in LA to visit Michelle, I started the 26 hour journey to Bali by myself. I flew from LAX to Taipei and then on to Denespar, Bali. I flew EVA air on the way there and it was quiet comfortable, for 26 hours of flying.
