NYFW is sort of the Super Bowl of events when it comes to the fashion world. I look forward to going every year because I not only get to see what is to come for the next season, I am also able to connect with fellow bloggers and colleagues. As a blogger, my normal day-to-day usually involves sitting in front of a computer screen in my pjs editing photos, writing copy and constantly updating our social media channels. So when I am able to leave my desk, put on real clothes, head to fashion week to talk to real humans who can relate to what I do, it gets me pretty giddy. Not saying my husband doesn’t love hearing about what Alexander Wang is doing for SS16, never mind, that is exactly what I am saying. While many parts of Fashion Week can feel caddy and over-produced, it still is a great feeling being around people who truly appreciate the works of art that these designers create. Their pieces may not be hanging on a wall in a fancy art [&#8230;]</p>
