The light, refreshing taste makes for the perfect drink to cheers to. There is a reason why the term “rosé all day” was created, because you really could rosé ALL DAY. When Sarah came to LA to meet baby Adaline we had to squeeze in at least one day to play. The hubs watched the little one while we caught up on life and enjoyed the summer day at the park with a nice glass of wine from our favorite, Bota Box. We have raved about this brand in previous posts and ironically enough it helped us conjure up the title of our blog and the reason why we have a blog today! We would meet up every Thursday to catch up, talk about fashion, our dreams and any other topic the night would lead us to with a few glasses of our favorite merlot from Bota Box. Falling for South Moon Under

There are times when living and working in the big city can really wear a girl down. Sometimes you just have to get in your car, roll down the windows and head somewhere where the air is clean, the sky is big and the only traffic is a herd of cows crossing the road. For me, that place is my hometown of Warrenton, VA, a charming little town about 45 minutes (and a millions miles) west of D.C. Driving down the winding country roads is my stress relief. As the city fades in my rearview mirror, a sense of relaxation that can’t be found at the fanciest spa or yoga retreat washes over me. Warrenton is part of my heart and I am so blessed to have spent my formative years in such a beautiful part of our country. When I think of fall, I think of gold and auburn foliage, horses, wineries and, of course, plaid. When we teamed up with local boutique South Moon Under to style a shoot highlighting our favorite fall styles, I couldn’t wait to head to my perfect location. 52 Thursday’s #unmiSTKable night

STK is officially open for business right here in our nation’s capital! They are located in the Dupont Circle offering a one-of-a-kind, high-end dining and chic lounge experience. If you are looking for a sexy, sophisticated hotspot with #unmiSTKable food this is the place to be seen. What sets them apart from other traditional steakhouses is their vibe-driven atmosphere with inspired cocktails and DJs spinning nightly to create an energetic, night life vibe through out the entire place. As you can imagine, we were beyond excited to be invited to a private dinner before the official grand opening party on Thursday to taste the menu. We went in with empty stomachs and left full and completely satisfied, anxious for the grand opening! We started with the Tuna Tartar and Foie Gras French Toast. Both were amazing but the Foie Gras French Toast definitely stood out from anything we have ever tried with green apple, almond brioche and sherry gastrique. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction – so of course we both ordered the filet. I choose the béarnaise sauce which was the perfect combination and added even more flavor to the perfect steak.
