5 quick tips for easy transitional dressing from Summer to Fall … This is a topic I know all too well. Living in LA, it can be a bit more challenging when it comes to transitioning from Summer to Fall attire when temperatures continue to soar. We all love Fall, right? There is no denying the styling and effort can’t be beat. But how does one achieve that effort with out all the layers that come with it? I’m sharing 5 quick tips for a smooth transition this Fall. Loafers: I love loafers. They are timeless and the perfect shoe to opt for rather than a boot that can feel a bit forced during that awkward period. Summer doesn’t always have to end … especially if you live in LA 😉 No but seriously, with the constant change of weather I’m making my summer pieces last a bit longer this year. If this Fall is anything like last season, I will be sweating my butt off in 80 degree weather while I attempt to layer and stomp around in heavy boots as if it ever snows here. So this time around I want to make my favorite styles last a bit longer while introducing some fall trends to keep up with the rat pack. Fall Styling Staples I love fall for many reasons. The crisp weather, cooking up my favorite comfort foods and the FASHION. I love warm weather but you just can’t put an outfit together in the summer like you can in the fall. Give me all the LAYERS! I recently did some shopping and updated my closet with this amazing suede jacket that I can’t stop wearing. It literally goes with everything. I will admit, I have gone a bit nuts in the shopping department this season but this is hands down my favorite purchase so far. Another fall staple in my closet are these Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots. I love them because they give the illusion of longer legs and who doesn’t want that?! Mom Jeans

These aren’t your typical mom jeans … I seriously couldn’t help but smile this entire shoot because quite frankly I was just in my mommy element. Give me a comfy, over sized denim shirt that I can easily wipe off spit up and baby food with out staining along with a well fitted pair of denim that’s a bit trendier than the norm, any day. Baby girl is now 6 months. Can you believe it?! She’s half a year old!! I never really understood why mommies always took monthly photos, but now I do. You have to cherish EVERY single MOMENT, because with the blink of an eye they are a complete new baby. Adaline went from an infant to what I feel like a toddler within just weeks. Ok maybe not a toddler, but she’s a big girl! She is eating solids like a pro (and now pooping more than ever like a pro), napping like a champ, sitting up, laughing, rolling, playing and all that cute baby stuff.
