Though to me it can be quite an overwhelming place to shop with all the trends of the season and most of the time just too much to look at. It’s exhausting, yet I keep coming back for more. Like an addict, and the fact that they have kids clothing too?! Done, just take my wallet and all my money. I will just eat rice and beans for the rest of my life with my daughter (true story, that’s all she will eat. sigh). But seriously, what I do love about them is that they do have all the trends and must haves for the season. SO if you are up for the shopping challenge and have an idea of what you are looking for they are, to me, the most practical and affordable place to shop for all the seasons trends that you may not be ready to invest in. So coming from a full time, exhausted working mom little time on her hands, here are a few helpful […]

When Sarah and Michelle told me I should contribute a post on fall fashions under $100, I thought, “Umm, well…like, actual good clothes that cost less than $100? Umm…” Which is not to say that I’m some rich snob who only wears $800 shoes. I don’t own any $800 shoes. C’mon, my last name isn’t Rockefeller! (And my husband reads this blog. Hi honey!) Ahem. So, no of course all of my clothes aren’t expensive, but I think I’m a savvy shopper: I find good deals, I tend to buy off-season items on sale and I never set out to shop for, say, a party dress. I see a dress that I love, I buy it and I find a party later. And I always find party worthy of a good dress. That said, I believe in investing in quality.

Football season has officially started, the seasonal Starbucks lattes are finally back, yellow school buses are making their rounds and brisk, cool nights are here and sticking around. So many traditional signs to let us know that Fall is amongst us and we are loving every minute of it. The early days of fall are always the most fun to dress for. So many transitional pieces to carry from summer to fall to even winter. The minimalist trend is one of our favorites by far. This simplistic, effortless and refined chic look is perfect for the transitioning weather, with fitted silhouettes and light layering pieces. Tights, boots and some killer wrap coats or oversized throws will take you to the next season until all you want to wear are your comfy, go to sweats come February! We wanted to showcase our favorite looks from H&M featuring the minimalist trend for this season. These looks could easily be worn for a date night out and even to the office if you throw on the cardigan. H&M is one of our go to stores to find pieces for our wardrobes when we aren’t sure if we want to splurge on the latest trends. Shop our looks […]
