Sometimes you just have to get in your car, roll down the windows and head somewhere where the air is clean, the sky is big and the only traffic is a herd of cows crossing the road. For me, that place is my hometown of Warrenton, VA, a charming little town about 45 minutes (and a millions miles) west of D.C. Driving down the winding country roads is my stress relief. As the city fades in my rearview mirror, a sense of relaxation that can’t be found at the fanciest spa or yoga retreat washes over me. Warrenton is part of my heart and I am so blessed to have spent my formative years in such a beautiful part of our country.
