We love any excuse to celebrate our true loves but of course, we can’t forget about our select and few, true friendships. This Valentine’s Day we wanted to take the day to relax, unwind and celebrate Galentine’s Day at the elegant Mandarin Oriental located in the heart of the US Capital. Michelle was back home in DC for a short period of time to shower baby girl with her friends and family. We took advantage of this time to catch up and get some R&R while doing so. We started our day off doing what we love doing the most – shopping. We visited our favorite local shop, South Moon Under and picked up some goodies to wear to our lunch date at the Muze to begin our Galentine’s Day retreat. We, of course, went over blog related topics and then moved on to catching each other up on love, life and anything and everything in between.
