Madewell – Denim That Keeps On Giving I love my job. Not just because of all the perks that come along with blogging but for the opportunities and experiences that I have been able to make while doing this job. I have had the honor of partnering with some pretty amazing brands on some really cool collaborations during my four years blogging but nothing has ever left me quite as fulfilled as my recent partnership with Madewell. Over the years, I have been invited to some swanky blogger events that have been put on by brands with endless champagne and swag bags but never have I been invited to come help build a home for someone in need. I don’t think I have ever been more excited to open an email as I was when I got this one from Madewell. I thought, “Finally, a brand that is looking to make a difference and they want me to be a part of it! HECK YES, sign me up!”. It wasn’t until later on that I truly began to understand what Madewell’s mission was how much they are doing to help those in need. By starting their Blue Jeans Go Green […]

As most of you know, Casey and I purchased our first home a few months ago and we have been swamped with projects fixing it up. And thankfully we are almost done!! I will soon post the entire transformation but for now I will share with you a little DIY project I did. We are limited with storage so I was in search of a hutch for our dining room. I came across this hutch at Habitat Restore and paid only $87 for it! A little time, few coats of paint, and voila we have a pretty nice looking piece of furniture! I think I found a new addiction! Prepping to get started After I primed Painted denim blue And here it is in the house! Looks great in the living room. Now on to another DIY project! xoxo Sarah
