As most of you know, Casey and I purchased our first home a few months ago and we have been swamped with projects fixing it up. And thankfully we are almost done!! I will soon post the entire transformation but for now I will share with you a little DIY project I did. We are limited with storage so I was in search of a hutch for our dining room. I came across this hutch at Habitat Restore and paid only $87 for it! A little time, few coats of paint, and voila we have a pretty nice looking piece of furniture! I think I found a new addiction! Prepping to get started After I primed Painted denim blue And here it is in the house! Looks great in the living room. Now on to another DIY project! xoxo Sarah

Sorry for the late post but as you will see by my pictures posted below that we worked straight through the night to get this project done! Today was day #1 of construction, our contractor and his team started pulling up floors, taking down kitchen cabinets and even knocked out a chimney! It is a full on construction zone in our house and I am trying to keep my cool since we have to move out of our apartment and into the house in 7 days. So to keep my mind in a happy place, I have been focusing on our back yard and getting it into tip top shape for my bday party this weekend (there will be a post next week on that). Below is a little project that Casey and I worked on today and hopefully tomorrow we will be able to finish the second flower box. Oh the joys of being a homeowner! New Spring Flowers Casey working on our reclaimed wood flower boxes. You may see some boxes in the back ground that may or may not be my bday present!! So stoked to show you guys the finished product next week! Funny pic of […]
