The holidays are sneaking up on us and this year I’m hosting my first Thanksgiving. Gulp. While I’m very excited, I’m also pretty nervous. “What if I ruin the turkey? My dressing will never be as good as my mother’s!” So many nuances running through my head but instead of trying something new I’ve decided to stick with a few things that I know are tried and true crowd-pleasers. I’ve always been a fan of Brussels sprouts, well if they’re done right. And by done right, I mean starting them with bacon and finishing them with cream! Oh, and there might be some rosé in there too (some for you and some for the dish)! My Brussels are more of an indulgence than a healthy dish. But who’s really is watching their waistline on Thanksgiving? These Brussels have never let me down with dinner guests and I know your family will love them just as much as mine does. Wishing you all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!! Find the full recipe with links to have ingredients delivered to your doorstep here. Pro tip: Be sure to pour yourself a glass as you are cooking. It’s been proven to help stress […]

I love entertaining, especially around the holidays. But one thing I hate doing is stressing over cooking. Of course, I want my guests to feel welcome but I don’t feel like I have to cook a full dinner for them to do that. That’s mostly why we enjoy having our friends over after dinner time. That way, I can put out a few snacks and we can really focus on the drinks! For the past few years, my go-to crowd-pleasing holiday snack has been a baked brie. My friend Tiffany, showed me how to make this years ago and I have been hooked ever since. Your friends will think you spent hours making it when in actuality it only takes a few minutes to put it together! Easy Peasy! You also know it’s a winner when it’s the first appetizer to go at the party. Give it a try this holiday season and let me know what you think! Baked Holiday Brie Recipe Roll out crescent roll sheet and press the perforated cuts together. Chop your brie into cubes and place in the center of the sheet of dough. Then place raspberries, rosemary and drizzle raspberry vinaigrette over top. Fold […]
