Weekend plans with Cabi … What does your normal weekend look like? Are you brunching with the girls this spring or maybe traveling to a local vineyard for a picnic in the sun? Those were my weekends about two years ago until lil’ miss Adaline came around. Now I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my lil’ mini me outdoors, usually at the park or adventuring around LA. We are always out and about and on the go. She has so much energy it’s so hard to keep up with her and because of that I have never valued comfortable and stylish clothes more than ever. I wanted to introduce you guys to an LA based fashion brand called Cabi and their latest collection, Elagancia. Their collection is fun, stylish, affordable and most importantly practical. I picked up this jersey knit stripped playsuit and cropped denim jacket for our regular weekend play dates. It’s so cozy and cute and has become a go to staple while handling my little one. A Whole New Meaning For ALL WHITE

I have taken on a whole new meaning for wearing all white… Yes we all know it means purity or the perfect color (or lack of) to wear in the summer to make that tan stand out bright like a rainbow, but now a days I have taken a whole new meaning to wearing all white. It’s my choice of color (again, or lack of color) to wear to hide the tremendous amount of baby spit up and unfortunately vomit that sweet Adaline produces every feeding. More like every burp, but now that she is a little over 3 months it has progressed to just once or twice a feeding. I wear white to cover up that spit up, because to be honest with you I’m tired of changing clothes every feeding. What’s the harm in some spit up if you don’t see it, am I right?! Shhhh. Don’t tell. I had terrrrrrible reflux when I was pregnant. In my third trimester you could find me huddled over the toilet every night because as soon as I laid down my stomach wanted to do the opposite. Fall Fashion: Simplify Your Style

Simplify your style … Fall might be one of the most loved seasons over the year simply because it’s the most fun to dress for. Colder weather allows for more layering which means more opportunity for trends, unexpected styling and cozy, comfortable looks. But what do you do when the weather just isn’t cooperating? When you are over summer dressing but it’s just not cold enough to pull out your favorite sweaters and oversized jackets just yet. Well I use this transitional period to simplify my fall looks with easy throw on dresses. It’s comfortable, breathable and can easily pass for fall dressing by pairing with some cute booties or over the knee boots. I always love to add a wool hat to complete the look because it’s another element of styling with out actually layering the look and complicating the simplicity of the ensemble. Surprise: We May Need A Bigger Closet

Surprise! I think we may need a bigger closet now … Have you ever had that small, nagging feeling that something is just a little off, but you can’t put your finger exactly on what it is? Well I was having that feeling, but it wasn’t quite like any way I’ve ever felt before. It wasn’t exactly like those days where I questioned whether I left the hot iron on or forgot to lock the front door. I had a feeling that I need to be protective or cautious of something, but of what? On August 19th, 2016 I was 4 days late but this wasn’t too shocking since I’ve been irregular before. Our friends were in town visiting and we were planning on taking them to our favorite sushi joint, Sugarfish. But I just couldn’t shake the funny feeling I was having and the possibility of pregnancy began to come to my mind more and more.
