Think Pink

Think Pink as this wall has me feeling like a little girl in a candy shop. Bubble gum, lolli pops, cotton candy, and all the sweet sugary stuff that my parents tried so hard not to give to an already high-strung child. As a little one (i.e. until I graduated from College) I always had a problem of consuming way too much candy. I’ve learned my lessons after a few root canals, cavities, and fillings, now I’m much better with my addiction 😉 There is one trend that has made a come back that really brings back fun, childhood memories which is the matching set look. My mom used to always dress my sister and I in not only matching color coordinated outfits but matching sets as well. I may not have been a fan of that back then but I’m loving the concept now. I mean who wouldn’t want an already matching set that you can mix and match with other pieces creating so many effortless, alternative outfits. This matching set is the perfect example. Date Night Downtown LA

I’m having way too much fun out here in LA. Believe it or not, I had never even visited LA prior to moving here. I like taking chances and the timing felt right in my life. I’m so glad I took the plunge because as you can see above… I’m quite the happy clam at high tide. What I love about LA is it’s a melting pot. The food options are endless, finding the most delicious and unique spots is my mission. It’s one of my favorite things to do on the weekend, making a quality Date Night time exploring new restaurants with the hubby, mainly it’s an excuse to wear heels. We tend to stay in our bubble in West Hollywood far too often, so this night we decided to venture to downtown, where the creative graffiti is abundant and the lights are colorful. Of course this created a perfect outfit back drop too 😉 I’m loving this lil’ black romper from Byer California and how effortlessly chic it is. The Bucket Bag Craze Not going to lie, I have been a little sad since Michelle moved out to LA, ok a lot sad. It’s hard watching one of your best friends and business partner pack up and move across the country. It had only been a little over a month since she moved but I decided that it was time to get out of DC and head out west for a 52 Thursdays reunion. As spring is just getting it’s feet wet here in DC, LA has already moved straight into summer and for someone who has been freezing cold all winter long, the warm weather was extremely welcoming.
