Ferocious Fashion Forecasting: Animal print continues to be a trend that won’t be going away anytime soon … What is fashion forecasting? It’s the study and prediction of fashion based on the past, present and of course the future. To get specific because we love details, according to Wikipedia its the prediction of colors, fabrics, textures, materials, prints, graphics, beauty/grooming, accessories, footwear, street style, and other styles that will be presented on the runway and in the stores for the upcoming seasons. It’s what every designer does to keep up with this fashion world by gathering information from consumers. Anywhere from whats going on globally to what’s effecting consumers directly to predict future trends. And from what I have gathered from those forecasting, animal prints are not going away anytime soon. They are the past, present and future. My name is Michelle, and I’m a sucker for Zara . . . Yes, it’s true. I have a problem like most of us do. I’m addicted to Zara. Though to me it can be quite an overwhelming place to shop with all the trends of the season and most of the time just too much to look at. It’s exhausting, yet I keep coming back for more. Like an addict, and the fact that they have kids clothing too?! Done, just take my wallet and all my money. I will just eat rice and beans for the rest of my life with my daughter (true story, that’s all she will eat. sigh). This Year It’s All About Galentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about candy hearts and spending time with your significant other, it’s about more than that. Maybe you don’t have a husband, boyfriend, girlfriend or wife at the moment or maybe your Valentine is out of town on business this year but that doesn’t have to stop you from celebrating. We think of Valentine’s Day as an excuse to celebrate any relationship that you value, whether that’s your marriage or your friendship with your bestie. This year Michelle and I got to celebrate our Galentine’s Day a bit early. It’s not often that we get to see each other, so when we do, we try to make the most out of our time together.
