NYFW has come and gone, and for those who have barely had time to scroll through WWD or Vouge.com to see what is in store for us next year, don’t worry, we have you covered. We have compiled a list of the 10 most important trends to come for spring/summer 2016, so you don’t have to lift a finger. We saw nothing was groundbreaking walk the runways this season, actually, most of these trends have been recycled from last season and years past. But what did have us excited was the progression towards relaxed and easy dressing. It seemed that most designers were hinting to take a load off and to dress in looks that were more causal with amped up comfort and less rigid. NYFW Spring Trend Report

As NYFW virgins, you can only imagine our excitement to even have received invites to go to some of these shows! When you are a NYFW newbie, you do not receive seats next to Anna Wintour or Chiara Ferragni (sadly) so for most of the shows, we had standing tickets or seats towards the back of the tent which made for some terrible pictures. We learned an insider tip a few days in, which was to stand in “The Pit” with all of the professional photogs, we may have looked a bit out of place in our 6″ stilettos and giant designer bags but we captured some great shots from there on out! We know it may be hard to think about Spring Fashion when we have barely entered Fall but we have to report about what we saw on the runways and what you should expect for the season to come. This may come in handy when you are going through some of your spring/summer pieces and wondering what to get rid of and what to hold on to. Beyond The Runway: Miami Swim Week

We arrived in Miami early Thursday morning with great anticipation and a very packed schedule ahead of us. We wanted to take full advantage of our visit and take in all that Mercedez Benz Fashion Swim Week 2015 had to offer in the little time that we had. As soon as we unpacked our bags we were off to the Ford Artists Beauty Suite on the Venetian Lady yacht for makeup and hair styling hosted by the ladies behind the charity Style Saves. This was much appreciated after a rough, early flight. Our Ford makeup artist and hair stylist were phenomenal and we thank them for their amazing work and help getting us ready! Poko Pano kicked off MBFW with the very first show on Friday at The Raleigh Hotel pool. We all clinched on to our fans and drastically tried to keep cool in the blistering heat. Thankfully the show was a splash, literally, and we soon forgot about the heat and humidity and enjoyed the show and MBFW 10 Year Anniversary party and opening night event.
