I’m actually not a big leopard lady, but when I saw this little number my imagination went wild. For those of you like me, who enjoy simplicity, a bag like this can bring you wonders. It’s that pop of color, pattern, and un-expected detail that really completes a simple look like this. When I was thinking of outfits to put together with this leopard bag, I immediately thought of my safari inspired shorts that seemed most appropriate for the occasion. It’s definitely not an every day look for me but I enjoyed running around the Art District in downtown LA exploring some cool creations, some what like a safari. These boots literally were made for walking, because somehow I managed to walk in them all day, which is rare for me in heels. If you haven’t invested in a pair of over the knee boots this season, it’s not too late, because the same pair are now on sale. Snag them before they sell out! I’ve linked a few of my other favorite leopard print bags below if you are feeling the slightest bit inspired from this post. Enjoy 😉 Wearing- Blazer (Helmut Lang); Shorts (Iro); Tank (JBrand); Bracelet (Victoria Emerson); Bag (Stella McCartney); […]

Mad for plaid. The title says it all. There is something about plaid that just makes you want to cozy on up to a warm fire with a cup of yummy hot coco. With temperatures finally cooling off here in LA this may actually be a reality for me. Well maybe not the whole fire place situation, but I definitely will be getting into the holiday spirit by putting on some plaid pj’s and sipping on some hot coco while wrapped in a fuzzy blanky watching a holiday movie. As fall begins each year I initiate the closet clean out process of moving the summer pieces to the back and the fall/winter pieces up front – which means a lot of plaid. Plaid button downs, capes, throws, scarves … you name it, front and center. Plaid will forever be my go-to pattern during the fall and winter. To me, it screams warmth and comfort and who doesn’t want that this time of year?! This plaid coat from Banana Republic is my new favorite piece this season – it’s all of the above wrapped in one. It’s big, cozy and oh so warm and yummy. Lucky for you, it’s 50% off when you use code […]
