He is an 8 month old adorable retriever mix weighing in at almost 40 lbs of cuddly love.  Rocket is currently living in a rural shelter in South Carolina but he has his bags packed and he is ready for the long trip up to DC to find his loving family! Rocket will arrive this weekend and is looking for a foster to crash with for a while or a forever home that will love him for always!  He is a friendly, lovable boy who is looking for a home that will give him some doggy training so that he can be on his best behavior.  Perhaps you have another dog that can join in the fun or maybe you live near a dog park?
