I’ve been eyeing this resort for years and when Casey told me our route through Utah (which put us miles from the resort) I figured it was destiny. Casey hadn’t heard of Amangiri so he had no idea what he was getting into and literally fell off his chair when I told him how much one night would cost us. I only convinced him because I told him it would be my treat and booked for one night because it was soo darn expensive. I figured that since we were living in a van for 7 weeks, one night in a lux hotel would be a-ok. The price tag is steep, and I was pretty uncomfortable booking at $2000 per night but I pulled the trigger anyway bc yolo and hoped and prayed that the experience would be worth the dollar signs.
