Peace of mind is everything. Have you ever felt like you were being followed or in a sticky situation and you felt helpless that if something were to happen no one would have any idea how to find you? Not going to lie, the thought has crossed my mind a time or two. Even though I feel strong and have a gun in my home for home protection, I still feel like if I were to be attacked that I would be completely powerless. WiseWear, an emerging tech company, realized this fear that women were having and did something about it. They created a fitbit like bracelet that not only tracks your steps, calories, and distance traveled but also has a security feature that will contact your loved ones if you were ever to be in a bad situation. 90’s Inspired Trends: Layered Slip Dress As you know, the 90’s are having a serious moment right now, form plaid skirts and high waist jeans to chokers and chunky platform shoes. Like most trends of the past they make their way back around. Some for the best others could do is all a favor and stay forever in history like plucked to death eyebrows. That unfortunately I’m guilty of and never want to relive. Smh. I have to yet to try the layering slip dress trend inspired by the good ol’ 90’s and of course wanted to give it a whirl. I don’t believe I actually ever even wore this look in the 90’s but Im in to it now. I mean, the concept is great, being able to wear a sexy slip dress but toning it down with slim tees or barely there knits underneath makes it so much more versatile. This dress has been given a transitional season makeover in the most comfortable way possible. I’m all about comfort these days. Daydreamer

Are you a daydreamer? Daydreamers way too often get a bad rep. Like we are walking around with our head in the clouds, thinking about lollipops, unicorns, puppies and rainbows. In my book, a daydreamer is a creative thinker and a fantastic believer. Someone with ambition and always thinking of solutions. Now tell me what’s so wrong with that? Even if some puppies and unicorns make their way in to those daydreams. 😉 I read a quote the other day that inspired me to keep my daydreaming game strong. “Never let it be said that to dream is a waste of one’s time, for dreams are our realities in waiting. In dreams, we plant the seeds to our future.” So true and well said by Dasha Alexandrovna Zhukova. Never stop daydreaming, because those dreams can truly come true with the right ambition, attitude and positive outlook. Who knows what will come out of it! I found this cute boater hat the other week that was the perfect little reminder and inspiration to keep those creative thoughts flowing. Plus this fun, off the shoulder ruffle dress is only $23!
