The problem is, it takes a bit of concentration and (I’m not gonna beat around the bush here because I know that you, dear readers, will understand) psychic ability to discern the exact date. It’s not on any calendar I have and it varies depending on what city (or country) I’m living in, but it like the sun rising each morning it arrives every year. You know how every year, late Indian summer gently turns to early fall. The leaves slowly turn reddish and gold and the morning dog walk has that crispness – a tiny shiver before walking into the sunshine. You briefly consider putting on that cute bomber jacket you just bought, but then it’s only a short walk and your neighbors are sort of scrubs, anyway. You make a mental note: this weekend, it is time. You know what I’m talking about, right? Because you (and I) are not the only ones with this original thought.
