I recently had the opportunity to try out RF micro needling at OVME spa at the Mosaic District (they also have a location in Bethesda and DC) and I’ve been blown away by the results. I’ve been dying to try this procedure for years after hearing multiple friends that have amazing results and seeing many life changing before/afters on social media. I’m almost 39, so aging is top of mind for me as I approach 40. I think this procedure really hits the nail on the head and is something I would recommend to anyone who is looking to reduce the signs of aging, wanting to get rid of acne scarring, enlarged pores etc. What is RF Microneedling? RF microneedling is a non-invasive treatment that uses RF energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, while microneedles create tiny punctures on the surface of the skin. This process stimulates the body’s natural healing process and collagen production, resulting in improved skin texture, tone, and elasticity. The procedure involves the use of a […]

When it comes to anti-aging products, I’m willing to test it all. The older I get, the more I kick myself for not taking better care of my skin when I was younger. In my twenties, all I cared about was being tan and skinny and I didn’t think much about what consequences my decisions would have on my body in the long run. Now, in my mid-thirties, my priorities are much different, and my health and my skincare routine are top on my list. We all know by now that sunscreen is a must in your daily routine but is there actually a way to correct the damage you’ve done in the past without invasive injections or laser treatments? The answer is YES. The skincare market is completely saturated with products and companies claiming they will “turn back time” or “stop aging in its tracks”. Which leaves us, the consumers completely confused wondering who is actually telling the truth. Since becoming a blogger, I’ve been able to test out hundreds of products. Some have been complete crap with a select few that I swear by and re-order on a regular basis. Most of these products we won’t even waste […]

Sarah’s February Skincare Lineup As you all know, I am a test dummy when it comes to beauty products. I’m always on the hunt for that magical product that will stop aging in its tracks. Although I haven’t found anything that will reverse aging, I have found a few products that have made my skin look more youthful! Instead of sharing what’s “hot” in beauty trends, I figured I would share a monthly round-up of the products that I’m using and loving at the moment. These products are all on my counter and if you watch our stories on IG, you might even see me testing these out in real time. Have a question about any of them or want us to test a product before you commit? Feel free to ask in the comments or DM us on IG! Always looking to connect and share with you guys! xo Sarah
