Now that we are officially in Spring, it’s time to slide in to some of the trendiest spring slides but not break the budget. Not sure about you, but I’m tired of spending so much on the “it” sandal of the season just for it to go out of style the next. I will invest on pieces that I know will never go out of style such as the Hermes Oran sandal but hesitant on others. Plus I got some kiddos at home that I need to clothe and feed. SO! I round up my favorite sandals for 2021. Also, I’m a tan and black kinda gal, depending on my mood, but most of these styles come in other colors as well! Hadyn 2. Marina Sandal 3. Deena 4. A Floral Spring Fling

It’s a floral spring fling … You could call it a spring fling … or my on and off love affair with floral dresses. I love the idea of a floral dress but always fear this look isn’t the best for me nor suit my personality. But when I saw this off the shoulder floral maxi with high slit from Tuckernuck, I knew it was love at first sight. I wore it the very next day after I received it in the mail. It was the perfect maxi dress to wear to lunch that weekend. I’m not one to wear heels as often during the day because comfort is always key in my weekend styling . So I opted for some flat gladiators (which btw- the taller style is more than half off now) to dress down the maxi and wore a few casual black accessories to tie in the look. Outfit linked below! NYFW Spring Trend Report

As NYFW virgins, you can only imagine our excitement to even have received invites to go to some of these shows! When you are a NYFW newbie, you do not receive seats next to Anna Wintour or Chiara Ferragni (sadly) so for most of the shows, we had standing tickets or seats towards the back of the tent which made for some terrible pictures. We learned an insider tip a few days in, which was to stand in “The Pit” with all of the professional photogs, we may have looked a bit out of place in our 6″ stilettos and giant designer bags but we captured some great shots from there on out! We know it may be hard to think about Spring Fashion when we have barely entered Fall but we have to report about what we saw on the runways and what you should expect for the season to come. This may come in handy when you are going through some of your spring/summer pieces and wondering what to get rid of and what to hold on to.
