The Wildest Street Style Of Paris Fashion Week SS18 Attending Paris Fashion Week has always been on my bucket list. The runway shows, the street style, the magical Parisian nights and the baguettes always looked so dreamy as I watched from others perspectives. Attending myself always seemed like a far fetched dream. But somehow, the stars were in perfect alignment when my husband brought up the idea of celebrating our anniversary in Paris this year (which also happened to be during Paris Fashion Week). So of course, I did all I could to work my connections to attend anything and everything Paris Fashion Week. After getting multiple rejection emails from some of the big brands (it was worth a shot!), I focused my efforts on up and coming designers. I had a little luck getting my intern Ashley (she is studying abroad in Paris this semester) and I into some smaller shows and events which we were super grateful to attend. We saw some pretty interesting things on and off the runway during the two days that we took on Paris Fashion Week. But my favorite of all was what we spotted outside of the Rick Owens show, OMG the people […]

I’m not a huge fan of pink but blush is a whole different story. I tend to shy away from super bright colors and like to stick to neutrals that I can wear from season to season. Most of my closet is made up of pieces in shades of black, white, gray and now blush. Call me boring but bright colors just aren’t my thing. I spotted this faux suede bomber while browsing the racks at Zara and totally fell in love and it didn’t hurt that it was under $100. It elevates pretty much any look you wear it with. From denim to dresses, it’s the perfect spring addition. Find my favorite spring blush wardrobe staples by scrolling below. Wearing: Jacket (Zara), Dress (South Moon Under), Sunglasses (Quay), and Sandals (Coach). Photos by Emma Weiss xo Sarah

90’s Inspired Trends: Layered Slip Dress As you know, the 90’s are having a serious moment right now, form plaid skirts and high waist jeans to chokers and chunky platform shoes. Like most trends of the past they make their way back around. Some for the best others could do is all a favor and stay forever in history like plucked to death eyebrows. That unfortunately I’m guilty of and never want to relive. Smh. I have to yet to try the layering slip dress trend inspired by the good ol’ 90’s and of course wanted to give it a whirl. I don’t believe I actually ever even wore this look in the 90’s but Im in to it now. I mean, the concept is great, being able to wear a sexy slip dress but toning it down with slim tees or barely there knits underneath makes it so much more versatile. This dress has been given a transitional season makeover in the most comfortable way possible. I’m all about comfort these days. Runway: From left: Dries Van Noten Spring 2016, Emilio Pucci Spring 2016, Courrèges Spring 2016 Street Style: Wearing- Dress (ASOS); Turtleneck (Halogen); Shoes (Sergio Rossi – Old but similar here); Clutch […]

What do I love about fall? I could bore you with a long list of reasons why fall rules but big chunky sweaters are probably right up there with my mom’s homemade pecan pie. I wear them with pretty much anything I can get my hands on when the temperatures start to drop. Boyfriend jeans, skinny jeans, flares, leather, etc. A great sweater will go with pretty much anything you wear it with. I have stacks and stacks of wooly sweaters that I have collected over the years but I can’t seem to stop myself from adding to my collection when fall rolls around. Sweaters used to all look the same to me, some with crew necks, others with v necks and then there were sweaters with turtlenecks. All classics that I own and love but this year I decided to spice things up and add some with isometrical hemlines, tassels on the hem and cropped cable knits that can be layered over button up shirts. Most of the looks that I create with them tend to be simple yet chic and effortless looking. Sure, dressing up in fancy dresses can be fun for special occasions but for normal day to day […]
