Buckle Up Baby, because there is nothing more important to me than the safety, well being and development of my little girl. That is exactly how the Evenflo family feels and what drives them to produce their product. My husband and I did our fair share researching brands and car seats. It’s an important purchase because our girl can use this car seat till at least 4 years of age, which is a LONG time in my book. So after reading the reviews and product details, we decided on the SafeMax All-in-One Car Seat. Why is it called All-in-One? Well because it is. It can be used rear-facing from 4-40 lbs, forward facing from 22-65 lbs all the way to a harnessed booster, 40-120 lbs. They go above and beyond with 2X the federal crash test standard, including rollover-testing and an integrated steel frame. Plus it has temperature-regulating fabric that balances your child’s body temperature with buckle pockets that help protect against hot buckle burns, which is great for the Cali sun. The Spring weather is calling our name, and I’m looking forward to safe travels with my new little family as we venture out and continue to explore this state that I love. […]

On the go with Lo & Sons … We are always on the go. Sometimes it feels like life just isn’t slowing down. With busy work lives, husbands, pups, family near and far and our attempt at keeping a personal life, it can be a bit exhausting. But hey we will take that as a positive thing as we are very blessed, with no complaints! We were just in need of something stylish and innovative to keep up with our daily lives. We found that in Lo & Sons. Each bag was built to travel light without having to compromise the most important things which are functionality and style. We both loved The Catalina Deluxe style. It really is the ultimate weekender bag with the right amount of compartments to stay organized and sane for a seamless, smart travel! See how we each put these bags to the test. Michelle: Michelle is seen wearing – Jacket (Marine Layer); Shirt (Marine Layer); Scarf (Marine Layer); Denim (Rag & Bone); Shoes (Angelina); Watch (J. Beverly); Sunglasses (Super) My husband and I went to San Fransisco to see family for an extended weekend and of course I always over pack so carrying on The […]

I found a little piece of heaven and it just so happens to be tucked away in the valley of Ojai, the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa to be exact. Only an hour and half outside of LA, this gem is easy to get to and with its serenity and Spanish style architect you will think you are vacationing in another country. Hubby, fur baby, and I packed up for a two night stay at this gorgeous resort for a little R&R and quality time. First, we took a little tour via a golf cart as soon as we arrived to become acclimated with the property and it’s history – there is so much to do there. (I would recommend a longer stay than our 2 days in order to take in all the beauty.) We took it easy on the first day and just relaxed on the terrace as we watched the “pink moment” take over the skies above the mountains. The next day we woke up early and visited the spa to try out Peace In A Pod. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating to get our eventful day started. After the spa we went for a run outside, which was quite scenic, followed by a quick gym […]
