For those of you who have not heard of this runway show, it is a nationally acclaimed luxury brand event to help benefit the Washington Humane Society.  The models who walk in the show agree to raise a minimum of $5,000 in just 10 weeks leading up to the event by taking part in a friendly fundraising competition.  They are the bread and butter of this amazing fundraiser. We had so much fun watching these models strut down the aisle with their pups by their side, wearing the latest pieces that DC’s local luxury retailers carry.  They were able to raise over $404k by the end of it all AND helped numerous sheltered doggies find forever homes that night!  Such a fun event to attend, combining our two favorite things…fashion and dogs!  Brilliant idea.
