DUO: Day to Night Challenge

We were challenged by British shoe company, DUO, to choose our favorite pair of shoes from their shop and style them from day to night. It was so much fun styling around the shoes to come up with complete new outfits, from our own wardrobe, to create two totally different looks. Check out what we came up with and all the other options that DUO has to offer! The Perfect Tee

We are sure we are not the only ones that are constantly on a mission to find the perfect tee. Let’s be honest, as soon as temps hit above 90’s and creep into the 100’s, a flattering tee and some cut off shorts are always the go to. We love the versatility of a basic tee by pairing it with distressed denim or dressing it up with a pencil skirt and blazer for work. The options are really endless! How to Dress Warm for Spring?

Spring is finally upon us, yet we are still bundled up here in DC with snow still covering the ground and temps in the low 30’s and 40’s. It’s kind of hard to think of wearing shorts and silk dresses, in the near future, when all we want to do is throw on sweats and a hoodie. This week we felt inspired by the the sporty trends that strutted down the Spring 2014 runways. We paired this must have rag & bone v-neck sweater with a pair of Zara boyfriend jeans and a pointy toe pump to create a soft, casual look yet still appropriate to keep us warm in this brutal weather. Definitely looking forward to pairing this sweater with a cute black skort or cut off boyfriend shorts once the temperatures warm up! Thanks to this sweet boy, Louis, for modeling with his mommy.
