A Whole New Meaning For ALL WHITE

I have taken on a whole new meaning for wearing all white… Yes we all know it means purity or the perfect color (or lack of) to wear in the summer to make that tan stand out bright like a rainbow, but now a days I have taken a whole new meaning to wearing all white. It’s my choice of color (again, or lack of color) to wear to hide the tremendous amount of baby spit up and unfortunately vomit that sweet Adaline produces every feeding. More like every burp, but now that she is a little over 3 months it has progressed to just once or twice a feeding. I wear white to cover up that spit up, because to be honest with you I’m tired of changing clothes every feeding. What’s the harm in some spit up if you don’t see it, am I right?! Shhhh. Don’t tell. I had terrrrrrible reflux when I was pregnant. In my third trimester you could find me huddled over the toilet every night because as soon as I laid down my stomach wanted to do the opposite. Zara has always been one of our top go-to shops for updating our wardrobe from season to season. Their pieces are classic, durable and look much more luxurious and expensive than they really are. It’s really all about how you put it together, how you feel in it and the confidence you exude when you wear an outfit you look and feel great in. Proof that you don’t have to break the bank to look flawless. It also doesn’t hurt that their online ordering is easy, their shipping times are super fast and returns are painless (super important when online shopping). We love to check out Zara and other brick and mortar retail stores whenever possible, but hasn’t online shopping become just a little too convenient? Our lives continue to get busier and busier and we find ourselves even ordering our cleaning supplies online (thank you Amazon Prime). Shift-Work

This spring we are loving neutral and soft shades that are easy on the eye and easy to wear as well. Living in the DC area we lead pretty busy lifestyles; from going to work, straight to a dinner meeting/happy hour and sometimes we don’t get home until 10pm and we are ready to crash! On long days like these we opt to wear something chic yet comfortable; may we introduce you to the almighty shift dress. Shift dresses are perfect to wear during the warmer weather and can easily go from day to night with a quick change of shoes and accessories. Shift dresses have been popular since the 60’s and still are to this day due to their loose fitting and forgiving silhouettes. Be sure to find one with the right length as some shifts can be unflattering and overwhelming if too long but easily fixed with a simple hem.
