For my mom’s birthday this year we gave her a trip to New York City to celebrate, so we loaded up a minivan full of 6 adults + 1 toddler and we drove up to the big city Griswold Christmas Vacation Style. Surprisingly we made it there in one piece and under 5 hours..so that was a win. We had a day and a half in the city so we made the most of our short time there, we saw the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall, had the best dinner ever at Quality Italian, got a peak of the Today Show and the tree in Rockefeller Center and did a little shopping at FAO Schwarz. Absolutely nothing beats Christmas time in New York City. Here are a few pictures of the “Gargagliano Christmas Vacation”.

Had the best meal ever at Quality Italian. I recommend the Corn Gnudi, Chicken Parm (that is not pizza, that is the park), and the Porter House Steak. Also the rolls that they serve are right up there with the dishes (think salt sprinkled pillowy donuts). My mouth is currently watering..
