Miami has always had a little piece of our hearts. We both celebrated our bachelorette parties there and it is also where we attended our first fashion shows with the blog. It’s the perfect spot for a girls trip or just a get away with your significant other. Plus, it’s super easy to get to from DC. Since we are seasoned Miami regulars and have stayed in many of the hotels along the strip, this time we decided to try a hotel we had been eyeing since our first Miami trip. The Shore Club is a cute little boutique hotel that is tucked away from the madness even though it is located right on Collins Ave. The vibe is chill, which is a nice change of pace since much of Miami is loud and a bit crazy.
The Shore Club Hotel doesn’t feel like a generic chain hotel. From the open spaced modern rooms to the outside decor and lounge areas, you feel like you are staying in a little hidden gem in South Beach. Even though we stayed there during one of the busiest times of the year, Swim Week, we were still able to escape the craziness and get some peace in quiet in our hotel all while being conveniently in the heart of the chaos.
The Shore Club staff greeted us with a cold bottle of champagne to kick off our Miami Swim Week along with our favorite Vosges chocolate, Vogue magazines and a sweet welcome card. They were even kind enough to suggest tips on where to go and what to do, such as sangria at the Mondrian South Beach which made for an epic start to our evening. The Shore Club Hotel’s amenities include a work out room, spa and complimentary bikes to catch some wind along the shore line. The Sky Bar on top of the hotel has a killer view too and every Sunday they throw down some awesome pool parties.
We couldn’t resist lunch with drinks by the pool and a frolic along the beach each day while we were there. With two pools and easy access to the beach accompanied by a friendly staff constantly checking on you, it’s hard not to have a good time. Our favorite drinks were the strawberry Mojitos, refreshing and delicious and probably the best in Miami. We still can’t get over the unique outside decor with an oasis feel and relaxing boho vibes. Antique beds by the pool, fluffy pillow infested conversation circles, colored lanterns and inviting swings are just a few of our spots to hang at the Shore Club Hotel.

Miami Swim Week 2015 was an unforgettable time. Thanks to The Shore Club for being such amazing hosts and keeping us sane through out this crazy weekend. We truly found a hidden gem in Miami and a home away from home.
