Fall might be one of the most loved seasons over the year simply because it’s the most fun to dress for. Colder weather allows for more layering which means more opportunity for trends, unexpected styling and cozy, comfortable looks. But what do you do when the weather just isn’t cooperating? When you are over summer dressing but it’s just not cold enough to pull out your favorite sweaters and oversized jackets just yet.
Well I use this transitional period to simplify my fall looks with easy throw on dresses. It’s comfortable, breathable and can easily pass for fall dressing by pairing with some cute booties or over the knee boots. I always love to add a wool hat to complete the look because it’s another element of styling with out actually layering the look and complicating the simplicity of the ensemble.
This dress from Noa Elle embodies everything I was looking for. I love the billowy sleeves and lace detail making this little black dress more than just your little black dress.
