Happy Hour at Michelle’s House:
I always love something to chew on after I finish my drink. For martinis, it’s the stuffed olive and for champagne I love strawberries. When I think Summer, I think loads of delicious fruit. Tropical fruits, watermelon, blueberries… anything and everything that’s juicy and refreshing to cool you off on those hot Summer days.
I naturally picked the Tropical Punch flavored Pinnacle Vodka! What you will need to serve a party of six…
- 6 oz of Tropical Punch flavored Pinnacle Vodka
- 25.4 oz sparkling white grape juice
- 2 cups clear lemon lime flavored soda
- 1 small watermelon
- 1 small honeydew melon
- Handful of blueberries
- 2 lemons
- 2 limes
- Handful of mint to garnish
- Starfruit to garnish
I first used a melon baller to create festive ball-shaped melons. Place on a tray in the freezer for an hour or so to act as ice afterwards to keep your drink cold and refreshing. Then in a pitcher, combine grape juice and soda together. Cut and squeeze the lemon and lime for an extra kick. Throw in the blueberries with the frozen melons and garnish with cut starfruit and mint.
That’s it! So easy but looks like a lot of effort.
Happy Hour at Sarah’s House:
I love entertaining in my newly renovated home, whether it’s a backyard bbq or a casual dinner party, I am always looking to share something new with my guests that I absolutely love. When the weather warms up I crave all things cold and refreshing so when I was hosting my latest get together, I decided to come up with the recipe that was both of those things and also could double as a dessert.
To create my Creamsicle Dream Cocktail you will need (serves 6):
- 6 oz Orange Whipped flavored Pinnacle Vodka
- 6 oz orange juice
- 2 oz half and half
- 1 cup of crushed Ice
- 2 bottles of orange cream soda (or you can use orange cream soda seltzer water for a lighter option)
- 1 orange sliced for garnish
Blend the Orange Whipped Pinnacle Vodka, orange juice, half and half and ice in a blender until the ice has disappeared and you are left with a frothy consistency. Pour the concoction into a pretty glass and top with either orange cream soda or orange cream soda flavored seltzer water. Garnish with an orange and your fruity cocktail is served! This is a perfect substitute for dessert on a warm night and a total crowd pleaser!
We hope you try some of our cocktails out for your next happy hour or girls night in. Share some of your favorite summertime drinks with us below, so we can try them out at our next gathering! And don’t forget to drink responsibly!
xoxo
